NORTHWEST GAUL. Uncertain tribe. Circa 50-25 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 12 mm, 1.22 g, 6 h), 'à la tête de Pallas' type. Celticized head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet. Rev. Celticized horse to right, horseman devolved into volute; below, floral ornament. DT 2367. LT -. A beautifully toned and attractive example. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
